In a match where all players were shying back from the risk of investing too much into going for a goal, referee Massimo Busacca could use his preferred style of staying in the background, letting the game flow and not involving himself overly much.

Busacca had an easy match considering the general lack of heavy fouls or other unsportmanslike behaviour.
